With this series, I wanted to push myself and paint minimally- a skill learned at a recent art retreat, 
a challenge given to broaden my painting style.  I wanted to focus on capturing the key elements of  value, color and form to give the painting a looser style. Part of the Etat d'ésprit Collection.
